Leaves:

alternate, odd-pinnately compound, 10"-15" long with 9-19 leaflets, each untoothed and slightly curved

Flowers:

tiny yellowish white, in terminal panicles, 6"-10"

Fruit:

1/2" yellow-gold translucent, sticky, cherry-like fruit (called a drupe), poisonous

Fall Interest:

deep yellow-gold; deciduous

sun to partial sun; rich, limestone soil; adaptable; tolerant of dry soil
